    I adore peacocks, and your blog is packed with so many gorgeous paintings & illustrations by artists I love! Have you ever heard of the ancient Iranian cult of "The Peacock Angel", Malak Taus (aka Melek Taus)? I first saw this image in a modern worshiper's home.
